About Our Chairman
Mr.
Prasoon Mukherjee hails from Kolkata, started his career in 1981 with
Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC ) after doing a course in
Hotel Management.
In 1990 he joined TGI Friday’s Group in Malaysia and became
its
Director (operations) for South East Asia based in Singapore.
Thereafter in 1993, he joined Salim Group of
Indonesia and
worked until 1999 based in Jakarta .(Salim Group is
Indonesia’s Largest and one of South East Asia’s
largest
business house)
Mr. Mukherjee then decided to become an entrepreneur and took up the
Asia franchise of world famous Outback Steakhouse, a US-based
restaurant chain with an Australian outback theme having over 150
restaurants in 21 countries around the world.
In 2003 he ventured into the Real Estate and Trading business
in
association with Salim Group and in late 2005 expanded his operations
to India starting with West Bengal.
By 2008, Mr. Prasoon Mukherjee has consolidated his operations in
Restaurants, Trading, Real Estate and Manufacturing under the USEL
group companies operating from Singapore. |
